Spring is a great time to start working on your lawn
Spring is a good time to core aerate and seed your property. If you decide to do that, do not apply fertilizer with weed killer....that would include crabgrass control. Core aeration is the single best mechanical process for your lawn, especially in northern Delaware and Southeastern PA where our soil is like clay.

Most of the mulch we apply now is black or brown dye. The popularity of triple shredded hardwood has really declined. Brown dye had the best natural look; black dye seems to retain its newness longer. We apply all types of mulch; your or ours. We can apply anytime, but we think it is best after all the tress have bloomed.
